We are headed into the second half of the season and Palisades (5-0), who takes on Salisbury (2-3), are clearly in the drivers seat to start the second half. Behind them you have Palmerton (4-1) playing Notre Dame (3-2) in the Colonial League Game-of-the-Week and Southern Lehigh (4-1) traveling to Bangor (2-3).
Saucon Valley (3-2), who just lost their first home game in four years, looks to rebound, but it faces an challenge in Northwestern (2-3) who has been playing better since the problems that plagued Coach Snyder's team early on. On Saturday, Catasauqua (2-3) visits a surprising Wilson (3-2) squad and Northern Lehigh (0-5) and Pen Argyl (0-5) will fight to see who gets their first win of the season. Southern Lehigh kicks a late field goal to edge host Saucon Valley. Notre Dame, Palisades, and Palmerton win handily to stay atop the standings.

On Saturday, Northwestern toppled Wilson to notch their first win of the season. There a couple of marque games this week with the biggest pitting both remaining undefeated teams as Southern Lehigh (3-0) travels to Palisades (3-0). Saucon Valley (2-1) makes a trip to face upstart Catasauqua (2-1).
In a set of interesting games, Salisbury (2-1), off to a huge start, hosts Bangor (1-2) after they won big last week and on Saturday, Wilson (2-1) looks to continue its resurrection as they host Northwestern (0-3). In the final two games, Palmerton (2-1) hopes to keep up momentum from last weeks big win as they host Pen Argyl (0-3) and Notre Dame (1-2) looks for a rebound against Northern Lehigh (0-3). This week had a pair of exciting one-point finishes as Southern Lehigh topped Notre Dame and Palmerton pulled off the upset by knocking off 3-time defending champion Saucon Valley.
The night also marked a resurgence in a pair of programs. Salisbury won both their initial contests but Wiilson jumped on Falcons to come away with the win. Bangor was down two scores to Northern Lehigh before reeling off a ton of points to notch their first win of the season. On Saturday, Catasauqua kicked a last minute field goal to top Pen Argyl to get their second win of the season. As things stand, Salisbury, Catty, and Wilson have more wins that two-time defending District Champion Notre Dame; a team that has an offense every bit as potent as years prior. Finally, Palisades scored early and often for a big win to stay undefeated. Week Three is about to kick-off. This week has four teams undefeated and four teams without a win. In this week's games, Notre Dame GP (1-1) travels to Southern Lehigh (2-0) for clash featuring two really good quarterbacks and a potential for a high score. Saucon Valley (2-0) travels to Palmerton (1-1).
