So. Lehigh's DelPriore is the 4th straight CL player to be named Southern Lehigh standout WR/DB Jacob DelPriore was named the 2014 Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.
The MIT bound student-athlete was named from yet another impressive field of fellow football players. He is the 2nd Spartan to receive this honor with Frank Lawler serving as the first from Center Valley in 2005. To read more about this year's recipient, please 'read more'. Palisades' kicker/punter Sam O'Brien has decided Temple University is the right fit for him. He was a weapon in the 2013 season that didn't garner many headlines. He was the Colonial League's first-team punter averaging 40.8 yards per punt in 2013 with 16 kicks inside the 20 made him the best at his position. He was recognized by the local media as first teamer on the Morning-Call All Area team as well as the Express-Times. To top it off, O'Brien was named to the USAToday All-Pennsylvania squad.
